What are Cyanocrylate Adhesives? Cyanoacrylate adhesives (CA) are a form of adhesive that has many benefits. They are extremely fast acting, with some products taking only seconds to bond. Along with the fast application process, they also have incredibly high strength properties leading to the common commercial name of “superglue”.

Cyanoacrylates can be used on their own to stick various substrates together including rubber, plastic and metal. They can also work with additional products such as a CA primer, to help get the substrate ready for bonding, as well as CA accelerators that can help reduce the overall cure time of a bond.
